As it's getting closer to when we all go back to school or college or uni or even work, I've bought most of my school supplies and decided to share them with you. The only thing I haven't got yet are folders because I don't know how many I will need yet.
I've bought everything over 5 different days so the first place I went to was Home Bargains and I wasn't expecting to buy anything for school there but they have their own back to school range.
First I picked up some erasable gel pens. These aren't the proper ones and I haven't tried them yet so I don't know if they are as good as the real ones and I doubt they are but they were only like £1.99 so I don't really mind if the don't work.
I thought these were fine liners but actually they're colouring pens. I won't be taking these to school but I will use them at home for revising because I am a visual learner and colours help me. These were probably around £2.99.
The day after, I went into town with my mum and we went into WHSmith and there was a 4 for 3 sale on some school supplies. I got 3 of the things and my brother had one of them.
I picked up this Helix set of a rubber and a pencil sharpener and this was £1.99. I thought it would be cheaper to buy them together than getting a good quality rubber and sharpener separately.
I got one of these folding rulers for £1.99 and I got it in blue because I've had a purple one before and a clear one before and this colour is just really nice.
I bought a maths set as this is going to come in very handy for GCSE maths next year. It was £5.99 I think. Inside there is a letter tracer thingie, a timetable and maths sheet (both of which, I will not use and will probably throw away), a protractor, two of those trianguler things (I have no idea what they are for!), a compass, a rubber, ruler, pencil and pencil sharpener.
I needed a new calculator because someone stole my other one (weird I know, who would want to steal a calculator!?) and I had a choice of black, pink, blue or white. Everyone has black so I didn't want that one, pink is a bit too girly for me and the school uses blue ones so I decided to get a white one even thought it will get grubby. It had money off and it was £9.95.
Then a couple of days after I went to Asda and had a look in their back to school section and they had some really good stuff but I just picked up a couple of things.
I picked up a pritt stick for £1.99 I think just because we do so much sticking in of sheets at my school and it gets really annoying having to walk to the front of the class to get one of their crappy glue sticks. My school really needs to get some new ones because half of them have run out and the other half are all mushy and have hairs on them! >_<
I also picked up two packets of the BIC Cristal Original Ball Point Pens, one in black and one in blue. These were something like £4.99 each but they are totally worth it as there are 10 in each pack and they claim to last 2x more than any other ball pen! So these should last my the whole year unless I loose any!
The day after that, I went to Falmouth. And in Falmouth there is a Wilko and they have some really good stationary for really good prices.
I bought some Staedtler HB pencils in a pack of 5 for £1.60. Normally, they would be something ridiculous like £5 because they are a good brand but because Wilko is a bae of a shop, they were really cheap! I will really only use these for drawing things in maths and maybe Geography so these should last me maybe the whole year.
I also picked up these 4 Stabilo neon highlighters for £2 for all of them and just had to buy these because I was planning to buy these from WHSmith and on the website they were £1.19 each. So Wilko once again has been such a bae to me! <3
A few days later, I went into town to WHSmith again and picked up the last two things in this haul.
I bought this Staedtler black fine liner because I just wanted a nicer pen to write my name and stuff on front of all of my school books. This was 99p.
And to put all of this lovely stationary in, I bought this lovely pencil case! It's a really good size and would even fit my calculator in. It should've been £4.19 because it was on sale but on the self checkout it said it was £6.99 and I didn't want to put it back because it was the last one there and obviously very popular so I just got it anyway and I'm glad I did.
I hope you enjoyed reading this post and if you liked it, I might do some more back to school things.
Cheerio! xx
