Feeling Down in the Dumps

I'm not feeling my best right now and to be honest I don't really know why. I know lots of people don't feel tipty-top all the time so here's a list if things to do to boost your mood.

1. Run a bath.
A good way to relax is to run a bath and use a bath bomb or bubble bar. I love using products from lush. At the moment I'm half way through the comforter. It smells delicious and makes loads of bubbles!

2. Pamper yourself.
A good thing to do is to put on face mask and paint your nails. It's very relaxing and makes your skin healthier and your nails prettier!

3. Read a book.
While you are waiting for your face mask to work and/or your nails to dry, find a really good book to read. I'm reading Billy and Me by Giovanna Fletcher for the 3rd time as I love it so much!

4. Listen to music.
Listening to music always makes me happier as it distracts me from whatever is making me feel down. I love listening to McFly, 5SOS and other boy bands! Also have a little boogie!!

5. Get in comfy clothes.
Get out if your school uniform or work clothes and into some comfy jammies!!

6. Look at pictures of your celeb crush.
One way that cheers me up a lot if the time is looking at pictures of Ashton Irwin. His smile just makes me happier!

7. Eat.
Eating almost definitely cheers me up. You could eat something healthy or something chocolatey like me! ;)

8. Watch some YouTube videos.
Go online and watch some YouTube vids of your choice. Whether that's beauty videos or gaming videos. It's up to you!

9. Get an early night.
If you have school or work the next day the best thing to do is get an early night as you will be more awake and in a better mood the next morning.

That's all my tips for making yourself happier! If you have any more leave them in the comments for me to see!

Billy and Me - Giovanna Fletcher

Billy and Me is my favourite book. There so many reasons why it's my favourite. There's romance, comedy and loads of stuff. Giovanna is the wife of Tom Fletcher from McFly (my favourite band!) and she is such a talented writer.

The main character, Sophie May, is such a relatable character because she is just a normal human being who has problems like any other regular person. But then an actor called Billy Buskins comes to her village to do a movie and he falls in love with her and then her life is turned around.

The blurb:

Sophie May has a secret.

One that she's successfully kept for years. It's meant that she's had to give up her dreams of going to university and travelling the world to stay in her little village, living with her mum and working in the local teashop.

But then she meets the gorgeous Billy - an actor with ambitions to make it to the top. And when they fall in love, Sophie is whisked away from the comfort of her life into Billy's glamorous - but ruthless - world.

Their relationship throws Sophie right into the spotlight after years of shying away from attention. Can she handle the constant scrutiny that comes with being with Billy? And most of all, is she ready for her secret heartbreak to be discovered and shared with the nation?

If you haven't read it, please go and buy it because if you love romance, heartbreak and a bit of comedy then you will love this book. I don't want to give to much away unless you want to go and get it. You can buy it from somewhere like Waterstones or WHSmith for £7.99.

Rimmel London Apocalips Lip Lacquer

I've seen YouTube videos of people talking about the Rimmel London Apocalips and ever since seeing those videos, I've wanted some. But I've never got them before because to me, it's quite a bit of money (£6.49). That may not be the case for some people but for me, as a 13 year old who doesn't get a lot of money, it was something that I just pushed aside and forgot about.

One day, my friend Jodie (she has a blog too - jomilybeauty.blogspot.co.uk check her out!) told me what she had bought from Poundland at the weekend. Guess what she bought...

3 different Apocalips!!!!!!

I instantly wanted to go into town and buy them as I had known about them for ages! The next weekend or sometime, we went into town together and I bought them! I got 3 for £3 where as if i bought them from somewhere else it would've been over £18.

The colours there were to buy were Big Bang, Apocolitic and Stella.

Big Bang
Apocoliptic
Stella

I really like these lip lacquers as they are very pigmented and last for ages! I don't know if they are still in Poundland but if they are you definitely should get them!

Barry M Nail Paints

My favourite nail varnishes are the Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paints. I have 5 different colours and one Confetti Nail Paint and I have used all if them more than once.

I feel the Gelly Hi-Shines are much better than the normal Nail Paints because they last a lot longer and you get hardly any chips. The Confetti Nail Paints are good to use over a simply colour to spice your nails up a bit.

The colours I have are red (Passion Fruit), purple (Prickly Pear), blue (Blueberry), pink (Grapefruit), green (Green Berry) and the Confetti Nail Paint has got blue and white confetti specks (Bubblegum).

All the Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paints and Confetti Nail Paint are £3.99 each which, in my opinion, is a very good price. In the UK, you can find the Barry M stand in Boots and Superdrug. If you are from another country you can buy them online.

Barry M don't just do nail polish, they also do makeup. I haven't tried their makeup myself yet but I would like to test some items in the future.

So, in conclusion, the Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paints and Confetti Nail Paints are cheap, good quality nail polishes that everyone will love.
