What I got for Christmas 2014!!

Hiya!

Today I'm going to be showing you guys some of my favourite things that I got for Christmas. I will say that I have been spoilt this year and I am very grateful for every single thing I have received. I am not bragging or showing off at all, I just have seen YouTube videos and blog posts of people showing what they got and I thought that I might do it too.

I got some very fluffy socks from my Great Aunt. The are soooo soft and really comfy. I've been wearing them all day!

My Auntie got me an owl throw which is really soft also. I got quite a few bedroom items as I'm moving soon and so I will have a whole new room.

My Grandad bought me some French Connection nail polishes!! They are really nice colours and I just love the look of the as well.

I received the Miranda box set (which I'm actually watching right now!). I love Miranda, it's one if my favourite TV shows and I'm so upset that it's now almost finished! :( Only one more episode left!
And I also got... THE FAULT IN OUR STARS!!!!!! I've wanted this film ever since I saw it in the cinema. I absolutely bawled my eyes out watching it! It is definitely one of the best films ever!!
If you've never watched either if these, I would highly recommend them.

When I opened this present, I was really happy because I wanted a black woollen head band anyway but this one has got built-in speakers! At the back there's a little plug that you plug the lead in and you plug that in to your iPod/phone. So then you can keep your head warm and listen to your favourite songs!

I was given an Olaf mug and Olaf ornament. Olaf is my bae and I love him so I was very happy to have him. He's so cute!

One of my other Auntie's gave me this really cute little storage thing. It's very rustic and this also will be good for my new room. The colours are really nice as well.

I was given the McFly Motion in the Ocean music book for vocals, guitar and piano. This is really good because soon I will be playing Star Girl and Transylvania on the piano!
My other Auntie gave me the unofficial McBusted autobiography. I will soon have read this about 20 times! :)

My mum and dad bought me the 5SOS book which I have wanted for ages! All the pictures inside are so cute and I can just sit there staring at them for ages.
They also got me Girl Online by Zoe Sugg (otherwise known as Zoella) and I'm reading this right now and I'm already enjoying it.

They also got me the McBusted DVD. I have already watched both CDs and I have enjoyed both very much.
And they gave me the McBusted album. I have been begging for this for ages! And now I have finally got it and I've listened to it non-stop.

And now for my absolute favourite present....

MCBUSTED CONCERT TICKETS!!!!!!

I got a box and I was just like 'Ooh yes, a nice bit of jewellery!' but then I opened it and it was a bit of paper. I knew straight away what it was because they did this to me last year! I threw the box on the floor and I was screaming and dancing in my chair! :') So on the 31st March I will be in Liverpool watching McBusted!!!

I really have been spoilt this year and I'm very lucky to have received these gifts.

Thank you for reading and let me know what your favourite Christmas presents that you had this year.

Another Lush Haul!

I've got another Lush haul for you today!

On Wednesday, I went into town and into Lush and I picked up Luxury Lush Pud.

I have never used this bath bomb before (shocking, I know!) and I'm looking forward to seeing what it looks like. I've heard great reviews on it as well. It smells really nice and it is £3.50.

Then today I went into town and into Lush again!

I picked up 3 items:

I got another Golden Wonder because it's like the bestest bath bomb in the whole freaking world! It smells so nice and it's £3.75.

I bought a Northen Lights because it's new out this year and it looks really good. The past few times I've been in Lush, it hasn't been in there and so when I saw it today, I grabbed it quickly. It's £3.50.

The last thing I bought was the soap Yog Nog. I smelt this on Wednesday and I fell in love. It smells so freaking delicious and I really want to eat it! Mine was £5.30 but the price depends on how much of it you want.

Let me know what your favourite things from Lush are in the comments.

Lush Purchases

I went into Lush today and bought a couple of things. I ended up spending ages in there and covered in glitter!!

Melting Snowman - £2.25

This is a bath melt, so you just put it in the water and it doesn't fizz and it doesn't make bubbles but it does leave your bath water feeling sooo nice!

Candy Mountain - £2.75

This is a bubble bar so you crumble it under running water and it creates loads if bubbles. The smell of this is one of the best smells ever. It's so sweet and just really really nice.

Golden Wonder - £3.75

This is my favourite bath bomb ever! You put it in the water and it fizzes and turns the most gorgeous colour and there is gold glitter everywhere. It is amazing!

That is all I bought today and obviously I will be going back and buying some more and I will show then on here.

Chill Out Days

I love to have my chill out days where I just wear comfy clothes, watch YouTube and tv and eat. So this is what I do.

1. First, I get into some comfy clothes.

Today I'm wearing some plain black leggings, a tank top and a jacket. I want something that won't be too uncomfortable for the day.

2. Next, I might like to read something. At the moment I'm reading Paper Towns by John Green and I'm really enjoying it. But if you don't like reading you could get a book such as The Pointless Book by Alfie Deyes where there are activities to do. I have another blog post on The Pointless Book in more detail if you won't to read it.

3. I feel chill out days are the best time to get some homework done. I think we shouldn't have homework in half term but I do have a bit so may as well get it done so I have more time to meet up with friends.

4. I also like to eat! There isn't much food in my house at the moment so I had some of the chocolate krispie bars I made yesterday!

5. YouTube is a big part of my chill out days. I can just sit and watch for hours at a time!

6. Now I just relax. I sit in my sofa, watch some tv and probably fall asleep!

Autumn

I love Autumn! It's when all the leaves start turning brown an falling to the ground and you start wrapping up warm.

I went for a walk to a shop and on the way back I went through the woods near my house and took a few pictures and thought "Wow! Autumn is very pretty!" And it is!

I love all the colours and how everything looks. All the browns and greens and the sunlight shining through the trees.

I feel the clothes are best because you can wear browns and greens and dark reds and purples. Ahhhh. And the layers and boots and coats!

Let me know what you love about Autumn in the comments!

Feeling Down in the Dumps

I'm not feeling my best right now and to be honest I don't really know why. I know lots of people don't feel tipty-top all the time so here's a list if things to do to boost your mood.

1. Run a bath.
A good way to relax is to run a bath and use a bath bomb or bubble bar. I love using products from lush. At the moment I'm half way through the comforter. It smells delicious and makes loads of bubbles!

2. Pamper yourself.
A good thing to do is to put on face mask and paint your nails. It's very relaxing and makes your skin healthier and your nails prettier!

3. Read a book.
While you are waiting for your face mask to work and/or your nails to dry, find a really good book to read. I'm reading Billy and Me by Giovanna Fletcher for the 3rd time as I love it so much!

4. Listen to music.
Listening to music always makes me happier as it distracts me from whatever is making me feel down. I love listening to McFly, 5SOS and other boy bands! Also have a little boogie!!

5. Get in comfy clothes.
Get out if your school uniform or work clothes and into some comfy jammies!!

6. Look at pictures of your celeb crush.
One way that cheers me up a lot if the time is looking at pictures of Ashton Irwin. His smile just makes me happier!

7. Eat.
Eating almost definitely cheers me up. You could eat something healthy or something chocolatey like me! ;)

8. Watch some YouTube videos.
Go online and watch some YouTube vids of your choice. Whether that's beauty videos or gaming videos. It's up to you!

9. Get an early night.
If you have school or work the next day the best thing to do is get an early night as you will be more awake and in a better mood the next morning.

That's all my tips for making yourself happier! If you have any more leave them in the comments for me to see!

Billy and Me - Giovanna Fletcher

Billy and Me is my favourite book. There so many reasons why it's my favourite. There's romance, comedy and loads of stuff. Giovanna is the wife of Tom Fletcher from McFly (my favourite band!) and she is such a talented writer.

The main character, Sophie May, is such a relatable character because she is just a normal human being who has problems like any other regular person. But then an actor called Billy Buskins comes to her village to do a movie and he falls in love with her and then her life is turned around.

The blurb:

Sophie May has a secret.

One that she's successfully kept for years. It's meant that she's had to give up her dreams of going to university and travelling the world to stay in her little village, living with her mum and working in the local teashop.

But then she meets the gorgeous Billy - an actor with ambitions to make it to the top. And when they fall in love, Sophie is whisked away from the comfort of her life into Billy's glamorous - but ruthless - world.

Their relationship throws Sophie right into the spotlight after years of shying away from attention. Can she handle the constant scrutiny that comes with being with Billy? And most of all, is she ready for her secret heartbreak to be discovered and shared with the nation?

If you haven't read it, please go and buy it because if you love romance, heartbreak and a bit of comedy then you will love this book. I don't want to give to much away unless you want to go and get it. You can buy it from somewhere like Waterstones or WHSmith for £7.99.

Rimmel London Apocalips Lip Lacquer

I've seen YouTube videos of people talking about the Rimmel London Apocalips and ever since seeing those videos, I've wanted some. But I've never got them before because to me, it's quite a bit of money (£6.49). That may not be the case for some people but for me, as a 13 year old who doesn't get a lot of money, it was something that I just pushed aside and forgot about.

One day, my friend Jodie (she has a blog too - jomilybeauty.blogspot.co.uk check her out!) told me what she had bought from Poundland at the weekend. Guess what she bought...

3 different Apocalips!!!!!!

I instantly wanted to go into town and buy them as I had known about them for ages! The next weekend or sometime, we went into town together and I bought them! I got 3 for £3 where as if i bought them from somewhere else it would've been over £18.

The colours there were to buy were Big Bang, Apocolitic and Stella.

Big Bang
Apocoliptic
Stella

I really like these lip lacquers as they are very pigmented and last for ages! I don't know if they are still in Poundland but if they are you definitely should get them!

Barry M Nail Paints

My favourite nail varnishes are the Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paints. I have 5 different colours and one Confetti Nail Paint and I have used all if them more than once.

I feel the Gelly Hi-Shines are much better than the normal Nail Paints because they last a lot longer and you get hardly any chips. The Confetti Nail Paints are good to use over a simply colour to spice your nails up a bit.

The colours I have are red (Passion Fruit), purple (Prickly Pear), blue (Blueberry), pink (Grapefruit), green (Green Berry) and the Confetti Nail Paint has got blue and white confetti specks (Bubblegum).

All the Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paints and Confetti Nail Paint are £3.99 each which, in my opinion, is a very good price. In the UK, you can find the Barry M stand in Boots and Superdrug. If you are from another country you can buy them online.

Barry M don't just do nail polish, they also do makeup. I haven't tried their makeup myself yet but I would like to test some items in the future.

So, in conclusion, the Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paints and Confetti Nail Paints are cheap, good quality nail polishes that everyone will love.

Passion Fruit
Prickly Pear
Blueberry
Grapefruit
Green Berry
Bubblegum
